Abstract

Banten's FTT of 111.59 decreased by 0.26 percent from the previous month's FTT. This was due to the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.47 percent and the increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.73 percent.
In November 2023 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.90 percent. The increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Recreation, Sports and Culture; Provision of Food and Beverages / Restaurants; Personal Care and Other Services; Health; Clothing and Footwear; Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance; and Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel. While one expenditure group experienced a decrease, namely Transportation. While the expenditure groups Information, Communication, and Financial Services; and Education did not experience significant changes.
Banten's Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in November 2023 amounted to 115.03 or increased 0.37 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
Grain prices at the farm level in November 2023 experienced an increase in the quality of Milled Dry Grain (GKG) by 2.28 percent and an increase in the quality of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP) by 3.98 percent.
The average price of grain in November 2023 at the farm level for GKG quality was Rp. 7,250, and GKP was Rp. 6,269 per Kg. For GKG quality, the highest price was Rp. 7,750 for the Ciherang variety and the lowest price was Rp. 7,000 for the Ciherang variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in November 2023 was Rp. 68,882 per day, up 0.03 percent from the previous month. And in real terms it decreased by 0.86 percent, from Rp. 57,119 to Rp. 56,626 per day.
