Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits through Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Banten in May 2024 was 201,574 visits. This number increased by 28.06 percent compared to April 2024 (m-to-m) and increased by 27.14 percent compared to the same month the previous year (y-on-y).
Foreign tourists visiting Banten in May 2024 were dominated by foreign tourists from China (20.33 percent), Malaysia (17.17 percent) and Singapore (8.22 percent).
Cumulatively, foreign tourist visits from January to May 2024 have reached 865,520 visits, an increase of 35.53 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
The ROR for star hotels in Banten in May reached 56.03 percent. This figure increased by 6.14 percentage points compared to April 2024 (m-to-m) and increased by 3.39 percentage points compared to the same month the previous year (y-on-y).
The average length of stay of star hotel guests (foreign and Indonesian guests) in Banten in May 2024 will reach 1.36 days. This length of stay decreased by 0.02 days compared to April 2024 (m-to-m) and decreased by 0.39 days compared to the same month in 2023 (y-on-y).
