A. Export Development

• Banten's export value in July 2024 increased by 13.68 percent compared to the previous month, from US$861.69 million to US$979.55 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in July 2024 increased by 13.71 percent to US$974.43 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas export value in July 2024 came from the footwear category (HS 64), reaching US$92.12 million.
• The largest non-oil and gas export destination in July 2024 was the United States with an export value of US$134.24 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in July 2024 increased in almost all sectors, except the mining sector and others. The highest increase occurred in the manufacturing industry sector.
• Banten's export value in July 2024 was highest through Tanjung Priok Port, reaching US$828.38 million.

B. Import Development

• Banten's import value in July 2024 increased by 21.22 percent compared to the previous month, from US$2,919.68 million to US$3,539.29 million.
• Oil and gas imports in July 2024 increased by 25.37 percent from US$405.06 million in the previous month to US$507.82 million. Similarly, non-oil and gas commodities also experienced an increase in import value of 20.55 percent to US$3,031.47 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas import value in July 2024 came from electrical machinery/equipment (HS 85) which reached US$566.62 million.
• The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imports in July 2024 was Singapore with an import value of US$522.72 million.
• The import value according to the category of use of goods in July 2024 compared to the previous month increased in all categories, consumer goods increased by US$63.64 million (29.51 percent), raw/auxiliary goods increased by US$309.84 million (14.51 percent) and capital goods increased by US$246.14 million (43.33 percent).
