Abstract

Banten's October 2024 NTP of 109.68 increased by 0.35 percent from the previous month's NTP. This was due to the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.05 percent and the decrease in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.30 percent.
In October 2024 there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.40 percent. The decline in the Household Consumption Index occurred in one expenditure group, namely Food, Beverages and Tobacco. While the increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in seven expenditure groups, namely Personal Care and Other Services; Food and Beverage / Restaurant Provision; Household Supplies, Equipment and Routine Maintenance; Transportation; Health; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel; and Clothing and Footwear. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups of Information, Communication, and Financial Services; Recreation, Sports, and Culture; and Education did not experience significant changes.
Banten's Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in October 2024 amounted to 113.95 or increased 0.06 percent compared to NTUP the previous month
Grain prices at the farm level in October 2024 decreased in the quality of Milled Dry Grain (GKG) by 4.54 percent and decreased in the quality of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP) by 2.57 percent.
The average price of grain in October 2024 at the farm level for GKG quality was IDR 6,363, and GKP was IDR 5,993 per kg. For GKG quality, the highest price was IDR 7,000 for the Ciherang variety, and the lowest price was IDR 5,900 for the Ciherang variety.
