A. Export Development

• Banten's export value in September 2023 decreased by 12.77 percent compared to the previous month, from US$1.07 billion to US$0.93 billion.
• Non-oil and gas exports in September 2023 decreased by 12.70 percent to US$0.92 billion compared to the previous month.
• The largest value of non-oil and gas exports in September 2023 came from the footwear goods group (HS 64), reaching US$145.61 million.
• The largest destination country for non-oil and gas exports in September 2023 was China with an export value of US$136.74 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in September 2023 decreased in the manufacturing sector while the agricultural sector and the mining and other sectors increased.
• Banten's export value in September 2023 was highest through Tanjung Priok Port which reached US$803.96 million.

• Starting from the July 2023 release, the import value presented is based on data from the Banten Province Customs Supervision and Services Office (KPPBC).
• Banten's import value in September 2023 fell 15.48 percent compared to the previous month, from US$2.96 billion to US$2.50 billion.
• Oil and gas imports in September 2023 fell 7.91 percent from US$518.71 million in the previous month to US$477.68 million. Likewise, in non-oil and gas commodities there was a decrease in import value of 17.09 percent to US$2.02 billion when compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas import value in September 2023 came from machinery and mechanical aircraft (HS 84) which reached US$389.56 million.
• The largest supplier country of non-oil and gas imported goods in September 2023 was China with an import value of US$369.14 million.
• The value of imports by class of use of goods in September 2023 compared to the previous month decreased in the value of raw/auxiliary materials by US$232.96 million (11.53 percent) and consumer goods by US$208.40 million (56.20 percent) and capital goods decreased by US$16.70 million (2.95 percent).
