Abstract

Banten's economy based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices for the third quarter of 2023 reached IDR 204.03 trillion and at constant 2010 prices it amounted to IDR 127.08 trillion.
Banten's economy in the third quarter of 2023 experienced growth of 0.73 percent (q-to-q) compared to the previous quarter. From the production side, the business field with the highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field at 3.24 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Total Net Export Component experienced the highest growth of 4.03 percent.
Banten's economy in the third quarter of 2023 compared to the third quarter of 2022 experienced growth of 4.97 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Transportation and Warehousing business field recorded the highest growth, namely 11.58 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was owned by the Total Net Export Component at 41.47 percent.
As of Quarter III-2023, Banten's economy experienced growth of 4.80 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Transportation and Warehousing business sector at 13.88 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Total Net Export Component experienced the highest growth of 25.34 percent.
The economic structure of provinces throughout Java Island in the third quarter of 2023 is still dominated by DKI Jakarta, which contributes 29.09 percent to GRDP throughout Java Island. Meanwhile, Banten contributed 6.91 percent.
