Abstract

Banten's economy in 2023, calculated based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 814.12 trillion and GDP per capita reached IDR 66.15 million or US$ 4,341.08.
Banten's economy in 2023 grew by 4.81 percent, slower growth compared to 2022 which grew by 5.03 percent. From the production side, the business sector with the highest growth was achieved by the Transportation and Warehousing business sector at 12.44 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Total Net Export Component experienced the highest growth of 19.35 percent.
Banten's economy in quarter IV-2023 versus quarter IV-2022 experienced growth of 4.85 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the construction business field recorded the highest growth, namely 8.88 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was owned by the Non-Profit Institution Consumption Expenditure Component (LNPRT) amounting to 10.72 percent.
Banten's economy in Quarter IV-2023 experienced growth of 1.79 percent (q-to-q) compared to the previous quarter. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction business field at 17.50 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Component experienced the highest growth of 30.63 percent.
